Powers Farley secured summary judgment for its clients, the buyers, in a breach of contract dispute. Portia Rauer and Aaron Eskue obtained a favorable summary judgment determination in Ada County District Court in a lawsuit involving a complex breach of real estate agreement. The District Court ruled that the seller breached the real estate agreement upon his refusal to return the buyers’ earnest money and ordered the seller to return the earnest money. Portia and Aaron were also successful in defeating the seller’s summary judgment on the seller’s counterclaims and obtained dismissal of those counterclaims.
