Powers Farley provides personal, responsive, and high-quality legal services to clients in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest.
Jarod joined the firm in 2022, as a transplant from Indiana where he had been practicing since 2017. Jarod brings experience in defending actions in both state and federal courts while focusing his Indiana practice on Business Litigation, as well as having worked as a member of the Healthcare practice group where he represented contracted medical providers administering services within the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) and defended civil rights and medical malpractice claims. In this capacity, Jarod gained invaluable litigation skills, including taking and defending depositions, engaging in motions practice and, when necessary, trial. Jarod also brings great skill in having served as local counsel, advising on local rules, customs, case management, and litigation strategy.
In addition to his Court admissions in Indiana, Idaho, and the respective federal courts located in those states, Jarod has the unique distinction of being a member of, as well as admitted to practice before, the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians Tribal Court.
In his spare time, Jarod enjoys spending time with his fiancée Becky, also an attorney, and their dog, Willow. Jarod is looking forward to taking advantage of the great Idaho hiking trails and numerous outdoor hobbies Idaho has to offer.
